W Polsce najbardziej rozpowszechnioną wśród kierowców substancją psychoaktywną jest alkohol. W dalszej kolejności są to przetwory konopi (marihuana i haszysz) oraz amfetamina. Narastającym problemem są rowerzyści, którzy poruszają się po drogach będąc pod wpływem alkoholu lub narkotyków.
Używanie narkotyków wśród młodych ludzi w Polsce
Osiągnięcie pełnoletności umożliwia uzyskanie szeregu przywilejów, w tym prawa jazdy. Tymczasem jedna trzecia młodych ludzi w wieku 18 – 19 lat ma kontakt z substancjami psychoaktywnymi. Brak doświadczenia w poruszaniu się na drodze połączony z używaniem substancji psychoaktywnych, które upośledzają zdolność do kierowania pojazdami, może być katastrofalny w skutkach.
